Regional and state competition

As a member of our centre and after participating in four weeks of competition, athletes from U9 to U17 can also compete in the Little Athletics Victoria Regional Track and Field Championships.

These are usually held in February each year in Ballarat.

If you qualify after competing at regionals, you progress to the State Track and Field Championships, usually held in March in Melbourne.

Open days

Some Little Athletics centres in Victoria and southern NSW have summer open days and carnivals. These are like our regular competition nights, but held with athletes from all areas. 



Once an athlete has become a fully paid member of Swan Hill Little Athletics Centre, they can choose to represent our centre at these events. 

In the past, Swan Hill Little Athletics Centre has had athletes compete at Deniliquin, Albury, Finley and Seaford.
